Apologies for the delay in this report but computer problems got in the way again.Anyway despite difficult weedy conditions carp continue to be caught by those who put the time in.Mushroom Mick has done his normal quick overnighter and banked stockies of 12,15 and 16lbs.Mark Simpson had mirrors of 23lbs 4oz and 18lbs 1oz,well done to you both.Steve(which one)had 3 stockies to 19lbs+.That leg end Mark(Monkey Boy)Harmer has sent some pics of Brads 24lb 6oz and of Ellie his daughter with her first Rudd from her first visit to Mesters.Well Done.Theres also a piccy of Scotts Stunning 14lb Stockie from last time.Now as we know the Great Gadsby has lost his mojo,well he was set up,did a night with no fish.At 8am Al Varley turns up to continue work on the toilet block,puts his baits in the margins in the next swim and before long beep,Tench,then beep Carp then beep Tench all day.Andy is being watched in case he goes for a walk with his tow rope.Some weed cutting has taken place with more planned.The toilets get ever near to completion and some swims have had a tidy up.Don't forget send your catch reports and piccys to Ivan at mesterscarp@hotmail.com |

Theres been a few more fish out this past week with more members battling the weed.First up is Mick Cawkwell(aka Mushroom Mick)whos done a couple of sessions and had a few tench to 6lbs but then a brace of Mirrors of 21lbs and 22lbs on a short overnighter.Mark Simpson landed a 21lb plus mirror and Mark(Monkey Boy)Harmer that famous Leg End banked a stockie Common of 14lbs.Jason(aka The Bait Roller)has fished all week with The Great Gadsby whos mojo is still not working correctly with Andy losing a few and Jase landing a beautiful 26lbs 6oz Mirror(Nutrabaits I presume)Scott Bradley has landed a 14lb Mirror which has been described as stunning by all who've seen it(a piccy would be nice)And finally Brad son of Mesters own resident bailiff Antony(Mucka)Roberts has obviously been paying attention to the old fella with a 14lb Common and a 24lb Mirror.A well done to all who have caught but don't forget to send your catch reports to Ivan at mesterscarp@hotmail.com |

Theres been a little more activity at Mesters this past week with a few more fishing and a few more fish being caught.First up is Pete who landed Mirrors of 24lbs and 15lbs.Graham Brear has banked a mirror of 21lbs(photo attached) and a Common of 15lbs and finally Chris who had a mirror of 19lbs and a common of 14lbs.The larger fish seem to be a little shy at the moment,probably due to the weed and its natural larder of food.Don't forget to send your catch reports and photos to Ivan at mesterscarp@hotmail.com |

Its been a quiet week at Mesters with hardly any anglers on the bank.The only catch report I have received is from Mesters own resident bailiff Antony(Mucka)Roberts who has done a couple of short stalking sessions.He has has a couple of stockie commons of 14 and 15lbs and a Mirror at 14lbs all caught off the top.Good angling in difficult conditions.Don't forget to send your catch reports and photos to Ivan at mesterscarp@hotmail.com |

Well the weeds up and not a lot has been reported although there have been Anglers on the bank.Andy Gadsby has regained some mojo landing a couple of mid double stockies.Mark Simpson has had a 16lb+stockie,Steve (believed Taylor)has had an 18lb+ Stockie.Jason has had a 14lb stockie and last weekend a 26lb 10oz Mirror well done lad(Nutrabaits I presume).A couple of members fished and will now be called The Tench Twins after landing 13 between them,all between 5 and 8lbs plus a lovely fully scaled mirror at 20lbs 10oz which is beleived to be the same fish Ted Cornish had a few weeks ago.Well done to you both.Mesters own resident bailiff is having a breather and not fishing at the mo while he sorts his living accommodation out,but he'll be back soon.Thats it for now please don't forget send your catch reports and photos to Ivan at mesterscarp@hotmail.com |
