Well the weeds up and not a lot has been reported although there have been Anglers on the bank.Andy Gadsby has regained some mojo landing a couple of mid double stockies.Mark Simpson has had a 16lb+stockie,Steve (believed Taylor)has had an 18lb+ Stockie.Jason has had a 14lb stockie and last weekend a 26lb 10oz Mirror well done lad(Nutrabaits I presume).A couple of members fished and will now be called The Tench Twins after landing 13 between them,all between 5 and 8lbs plus a lovely fully scaled mirror at 20lbs 10oz which is beleived to be the same fish Ted Cornish had a few weeks ago.Well done to you both.Mesters own resident bailiff is having a breather and not fishing at the mo while he sorts his living accommodation out,but he'll be back soon.Thats it for now please don't forget send your catch reports and photos to Ivan at mesterscarp@hotmail.com |

Apologies for no recent updates but I have been on holiday. There have been very few catches reported to me during recent weeks,so if you have caught send the reports in or they can't go on the updates.Graham Brear has had a lovely brace of upper doubles,a common at 18lbs 8oz and a mirror at 18lbs 12oz.Well done Graham.Mick Cawkwell(aka Mushroom Mick)has had a couple of stockies.A linear at 14lbs and a Common at 13lbs.Mesters own resident bailiff Antony(Mucka)Roberts has been at it again banking 2 lovely fish.A stunning linear at 24lbs 8oz and a beautiful mirror at 28lbs 1oz.Well done Mucka. |

Well despite the changeable weather this week there have been a number of good fish on the bank.Mark(Monkey Boy)Harmer that famous leg end,had a nice 19lb 4oz Mirror and then a common he had some weeks ago at 26lbs 2oz,he caught again at a bigger weight of 26lbs 10oz.Well done Mark was that good angling in 18acres or what.Rob Bennett had a rare session landing five fish,a 13lb Common,a 17lb 8oz Mirror,an 18lb 10oz Common,a 26lb 1oz Common and finally a lovely Mirror of 27lbs 10oz.Well done Rob any pics yet for the website.Mick Hunt continues to catch having a nice little 13lb Stockie Common.The Great Gadsby fished with Jason and whereas Jase caught a lovely 27lb 1oz Mirror Andy blanked(again)He was seen crying all the way home and is now considering Golf as a hobby as his carping mojo has gone.Well done Jase(Nutrabaits I presume)Finally Mesters resident Bailiff Anthony(Mucka)Roberts is having a lean spell with nothing at the moment from a 48hr session.Keep at it Mucka.Don't forget send your catch reports and photos to Ivan at mesterscarp@hotmail.com |

Well its fair to say that the colder weather has definitely effected the fishing.Theres only two fish been reported this week.Mick Hunt has had a stockie common at 14lbs and Mark(Monkey Boy)Harmer that famous leg end has had a lovely mirror at 19lbs 8oz.The weather has even beaten Mesters own resident bailiff Anthony(Mucka)Roberts who for the first time in generations has blanked.Don't forget to send your catch reports and photographs to Ivan at mesterscarp@hotmail.com |

Despite anglers on the bank fishing has been a little harder this week due to changing temperatures,including a ground frost on Sunday.However long standing member Mick Taylor has taken his first fish for 3 to 4 years from the venue in the shape of 4 stockies to 17lb.Well done Mick.New member Mick Cawkwell(aka Mushroom Mick)has had his first Mesters fish landing a lovely scaley mirror at 27lbs 2oz his biggest fish for over 8 years.Well done Mick.Rob(believed Rob Bennett)has had a couple of fish,landing a mid double stockie and a 20lbs plus Mirror.Well done Rob.Ted Cornish has also had fish landing two stockies both around the 14lb mark.Finally resident bailiff Anthony(Mucka)Roberts has done a couple of days with Andy Gadsby(aka The Great Gadsby)Andy blanked but Mucka landed a 16lbs stockie and a lovely dark common of 21lbs 5oz.Theres no keeping a good man down.Don't forget email your catch reports and photos to me Ivan at mesterscarp@hotmail.com |
