Its been another good week at Mesters, with a number of original fish on the bank. First up is new member Geoff Strymans who is new to carp fishing and look at his first carp a beautiful 25lbs 8oz common. Well done Geoff. His fishing buddies new members Paul Chambers and Lewis Clarke have been catching as well with 2 stockie commons each. Paul's were 14 and 15lbs while Lewis put an 11lbs and a 13lber on the bank. Well done Paul and Lewis.

Another new member Mick Hunt continues his good fortune (read good angling) with a lovely 23lb 2oz mirror. Last but not least is Mesters resident bailiff Anthony (Mucka) Roberts who continues his hauling yet again with the capture of One Eye at 29lbs 1oz, a fish thats not seen the bank for 4 years (awaiting photo). Well done Mucka (whats your secret?).

Also some piccys have been added to the gallery of Mick Dougills other 20+ from the same session as his 27lbs 15oz and a nice mid double fish caught by long time Mesters member Ted Cornish.

A quick update regarding a couple of catches from earlier this week. Firstly Mick Dougill landed a brace of Mirrors, 20lbs 2oz and a superb 27lbs 15oz, well done Mick.

Secondly newish member Mark (Monkey boy) Harmer that well known Leg End has landed a stunning PB Common of 26lbs 2oz, well done that man.

Also belated news of a lovely 20lbs 4oz Linear caught last week by new member Jim Wilson,well done Jim. Don't forget please email your catch reports and photos to me Ivan at mesterscarp@hotmail.com.

Latest Catch Report

Well after Mick's 29 last Monday its been a quiet week with only a couple of stockies to 13lbs having been reported. Then on Sunday night Mesters own 'Resident' bailiff Anthony(Mucka)Roberts started the latest of his haulin sessions and by 8am Monday morning had landed 3. Stockies of 14lbs and 18lbs slipped up first then he had a stunning fully scaled mirror of 22lbs 6oz (awaiting photos). Mucka will be giving tutorials for a small fee to any member daft enough to ask. Can members please email their catch reports and good quality photos of fish to me Ivan at mesterscarp@hotmail.com

Hot off the press Mucka has had another stockie common at 16lbs and ONE PEC at 32lbs 2oz a fish thats not been out for 2 years and that is its heaviest recorded weight, fantastic angling, well done Mucka.

Latest news is that new member Mick Hunt has had a lovely mirror today at its new top weight of 29lbs 1oz.Thats the largest carp from Mesters so far this season.Resident stat man Anton reckons the fish may not have been on the bank since 2005 what a fantastic catch,well done Mick and thanks for the report and photo.Ivan

Catch report 12th April

The last few days have produced a few more fish.First up was Mesters own resident! bailiff Anthony(Mucka)Roberts who continued his session reported last week and landed 3 more fish,a 14lb stockie and 2 mirrors of 24lbs 8oz and 19lbs 8oz.New members Scott Bradley landed a 13lb stockie and Paul landed a nice mirror of 21lbs 4oz.Don't forget to send your catch reports to me Ivan at mesterscarp@hotmail.com along with any good quality photos of your catches.Ivan
